During the history, India has faced many attacks. While most invaders made clear their intentions on the word go, English was able to bring India under its control through a business venture. It all started with the British East India Company, which started as a sole joint-stock company, but slowly but it is spreading its wings and influence before the British government ultimately controlled the whole country.

The British company had come to India as traders in the early seventeenth century but started interfering in Indian affairs around 1750. After the Battle of Plassey (1757), it started to change from a trading company into a ruling force. As the British started spreading its network in a large part of India, the exploitation of local resources and people started completely. The British were only concerned about strengthening their rule and power.

Independence day movement:

Mahatma Gandhi was the leader of this movement. Mohandas Gandhi's reputation as the spiritual and political leader of India, who, on the strength of a non-violent movement, coordinated and led a successful national struggle for independence against the rule of the British Empire, remains largely intact.

He went to India in 1914 and changed the face of the movement forever. They found a way to collect the native inhabitants and build a solid and strong Indian body. He found the natives to adopt his Indian culture, a thing which nobody had fulfilled before him. Gandhi told the Indians that despite their differences, they shared a very important thing for everyone: a common hatred with the British. He created a collective identity in India which was never present in the country. Once he drew the attention of the native residents, Gandhi took many tactics against Indian independence. These strategies included fasting, March for one week, and most importantly, they preached non-violence.
