Working out is great for us, and it makes energetic and fit. But working out in the morning is a struggle for most people. It is hard to motivate ourselves to exercise or go to the gym when it's freezing cold. It just feels nice to lay in our cozy bed and sleep some more.

Even if you promise to get back into shape by going to the gym at night, it fails. Mostly, because it is tough to work-out after you exhaust yourself at work. But for health purposes, we need to exercise whether at home or gym. Finding what motivates us to exercise is essential, rather than feeling guilty about it.

So, here are some great tips that will help you get out of bed and workout.

1. Remove invisible barriers

It is hard to motivate yourself to go to the gym due to hot or cold weather. They create invisible barriers for us. To get out of bed irrespective of the weather, find ways to remove them.

Like making lunch the previous night so, you don’t worry about the post-exercise snack. Or try a coffee alarm clock. Trying out these small methods can make it easy for you to workout in the morning.
2. Have a gym buddy
It is easier to get out of bed and go to the gym if we know we will meet our friend/relative there. So, try and convince your siblings or friends to sign up for the gym or exercise or go for a run together.
3. Trick yourself to get early
When you know you can sleep more before running out, it feels great. It helps ease our lazy brains, and we feel like we are in control. So, when you have to wake up for a Pilates or Yoga class set the alarm for a bit early. It will give you enough time to hit the snooze button, sleep some more, finish essential chores and be out of the door in time.
4. Hang motivational posters in your room
Words can deeply inspire us. That is why; find some quotes that motivate you to get out of the bed and exercise. Create motivational posters using the quotes and hang them in the room. It should be within your eye reach. It should be the last thing you see before sleeping and the first thing you see after waking. Even put motivational quotes on your mobile screen.

5. Lay out your clothes for the morning at night
Lay out things like clothes, headphones, water bottle and so on that you need for work out nearby at night. It will help you to just grab these things and go. If even this doesn’t motivate you, sleep in your workout clothes for some time. This way, you are ready to go to the gym after waking up in the morning. If you don’t go, the feel of fresh workout clothes against your body will make you feel guilty.
6. Hydrate
Working out on an empty stomach burns fat quickly, but don’t skip your morning glass of water. It will refresh you and energize you to exercise. Throughout the whole day, keep hydrating yourself.
7. Set a goal and stick to it
Set realistic goals that you can achieve. Don’t be over-ambitious. Make a plan to workout 15 minutes every day and stick to it. Once you start loving your 15 minutes health regime, it will motivate you to increase your workout time.
8. Treat and reward yourself
To keep yourself motivated, treat yourself when you reach a goal. By just sleeping in or having your favorite dessert can make you feel refreshed. Especially if you find working out hard, do things that make you feel happy once a week.
